The Algodones dunes in southeastern California are among the largest dunes systems in North America comprising roughly 700 km2. Our 2-year inventory of the insects of these dunes has revealed a fauna of more than 1100 species, including more than 60 species new to science. Among these are 21 species of Pompilidae given in a table, including Ageniella (Ageniella) arenicola Wasbauer and Kimsey, sp. nov., and Ageniella (Priophanes) pernia Wasbauer and Kimsey, sp. nov., described herein.
