Abstract

The entimine weevil genus Geotragus Schoenherr, 1845 from the Indian subcontinent is reviewed. The three known species: G. himalayanus Boheman, G. assamensis Schoenherr, and G. bituberosus Desbrochers des Loges, are redescribed, and a new species from Myanmar, G. shanensis sp. nov., is described. A key to the species from the Indian subcontinent and a checklist of the species are also provided.
