Fieldiana Geology ceased publication as a separate series in 2010; its emphasis on mid-length monographs and scientific papers reporting geological research and collections of The Field Museum, however, continued as a part of Fieldiana Life and Earth Sciences. Fieldiana Life and Earth Sciences and Fieldiana Anthropology were peer-reviewed monographic series published by the Field Museum of Natural History.

Fieldiana Life and Earth Sciences ceased publication in 2017.
