An annotated bibliography of the sunflower moth, Homoeosoma electellum (Hulst), a pest of cultivated sunflower, Helianthus annuus, is presented. Over the last 20 years the volume of literature about the sunflower moth has increased in concert with the increased production of oilseed sunflower in North America. The references are arranged in subject-matter sections which reflect topics that have received study. Areas where additional research could be focused are indicated.
