Abstract

Miscellaneous nomenclatural and taxonomic notes are provided on various genera of Cactaceae in anticipation of forthcoming overview treatments of the family. The amplification of Disocactus is proposed and a new subgeneric classification of this genus provided. New names and combinations are published in various other genera, and miscellaneous questions of typification, orthography and citation discussed.
