Abstract

Summary. Two new species of Aloe are described from Uganda. Aloe butiabana occurs on the Lake Albert plains in Western Uganda. Aloe wanalensis is a pendulous aloe occurring on cliff faces on outlying ridges of Mt Elgon in the east of the country.
