Five are new to the Northeast (New England and Atlantic Canada): Ephebe perspinulosa, Leptogium azureum, Leptogium intermedium, Parmeliella appalachensis and Vahliella saubinetii. Three are new to Atlantic Canada with no recent records in New England: Heterodermia leucomela, Racodium rupestre, Santessionella crossophylla. Ten are new to Atlantic Canada and uncommon in New England: Collema fuscovirens, Leptogium dactylinum, L. imbricatum, Melanelia culbersonii, Parmelinopsis horrescens, Parmotrema reticulatum, Phylliscum demangeonii, Placidium squamulosum, Pseudevernia consocians and Spilonema revertens. Four are new to Nova Scotia: Nephroma resupinatum, Placynthium flabellosum, Polychidium muscicola and Solorina saccata. Fuscopannaria praetermissa and Massalongia carnosa are recent Nova Scotia records of species of interest.
