Abstract

Embolemidae (Hymenoptera: Chrysidoidea) are parasitoids of Hemiptera Auchenorrhyncha. The genus Embolemus Westwood, 1833 is present in all zoogeographical regions and 32 species have been described. Embolemus sensitivus sp. nov. is described from the following localities of China: Naban River National Nature Reserve (Yunnan), Mt. Lushan (Taiwan), Mt. Wuyishan (Fujian), Mt. Qinliangfeng and Mt. Wuyanling (Zhejiang).
