Some of his recent work has also included unique habitats and species in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.

Abstract

The historic Wiley Ranch is located in western Nevada where progressive stewardship and management, with the cooperation of the landowner and state and federal agencies, is addressing past resource abuses. In this note I detail those abuses and the restorative actions, and make recommendations for further improvements.
