Abstract

Three species of Agromyzidae were identified at three municipalities in northern Sinaloa, Mexico. Photographs of adults, lateral and ventral aedeagus, and ejaculatory pump, as well as characteristic damage by the agromyzids on host plants were presented. Species identified were: 1. Melanagromyza minima (Malloch 1913) associated with Wedelia sp., and 3. Melanagromyza splendida Frick 1953 boring stems of Carthamus tinctorius L.
