Abstract

For the first time, Tetranychus ludeni Zacher and Acalitus orthomera (Keifer) were reported in addition to T. urticae Koch in cultivated blackberries, Rubus fruticosus L., at Zapotitlan de Vadillo, Jalisco, Mexico. A total of 219 organisms were collected, 40 specimens of A. orthomera, 117 of T. ludeni and 62 of T. urticae. Current distribution of the species in the country and damage to cultivation were discussed.
