Abstract

An intranasal sand-mite subgenus Traudia sg.n. other than Fainiella of the genus Walchia comprising five species from Austro-Malayan and Oriental Regions is erected. A new species, Walchia (Traudia) traubobi sp. n., is described from Australia. A comparison of the measurements of the five known species of the subgenus Trau-dia is made.
