Abstract

Southcottella nematii gen. et sp. nov. (Acari: Neothrombiidae) is described and illustrated from larvae ectoparasitic on adults of Gryllus domesticus L. (Orthoptera: Gryllidae) from Ahwaz, Iran. A key to genera of Neothrombiidae of the world (larva) is presented.
