Abstract

The Commission has conserved usage of the junior homonym Chaetosoma Westwood, 1851 and of the junior synonym Apodasya Pascoe, 1863 over the newly discovered older name Chaetosoma Chevrolat, 1843. In addition, the Commission has also conserved the beetle family-group name chaetosomatidae Crowson, 1952 by suppressing the older but permanently invalid nematode name chaetosomatidae Claus, 1872.
