Abstract

We collected three juvenile Alabama shad (Alosa alabamae) from the White River of Arkansas in August 2006. This is the first record of the species from the White River drainage. Morphology and size compared well with A. alabamae previously reported from other drainages in the state.

Se recogieron tres juveniles del pez Alosa alabamae del río Blanco de Arkansas en agosto de 2006. Este es el primer registro de la especie de la cuenca del río Blanco. La morfología y el tamaño fueron parecidos a A. alabamae anteriormente registrada de otras cuencas en el estado.
