Abstract

Epimedium pudingense S.Z. He, Y.Y. Wang & B.L. Guo (Berberidaceae), a new species from Guizhou, SW China, is described and illustrated. It is similar to E. sagittotum in its nodose rhizome, two opposite ternate leaves and saccate petals, but differs by the size and shape of the four inner sepals and by the leaves pilose or glabrous on the abaxial surface.
