Abstract

Two new species of the genus LeipothrixKeifer, 1966 from China are described and illustrated. These species are Leipothrix pilosaesp. nov., from Bidens pilosa L. (Compositae), and Leipothrix sarcandraesp. nov., from Sarcandra glabra (Thunb.) Nakai (Chloranthaceae). Both the new species described herein were found to be vagrant on their host plants without visible damage symptoms observed.
