^***Robert J. Lilieholm (rjl@cc.usu.edu), an associate professor, teaches and conducts research in the area of natural resource economics and management. His work seeks to identify market incentives that enhance the sustainability of communities and ecosystems, particularly in tropical regions.
^****Sharik and Lilieholm served for 3 years as US-based technical director and marketing advisor, respectively, for Makerere University's Biological Field Station, located in Kibale National Park, Uganda.

Sharik (tlsharik@cnr.usu.edu) professor and department head, teaches and conducts research in the regeneration ecology of forests, and administers academic programs in the Forest Resources Department. He has considerable experience teaching and conducting research at biological field stations.
