Abstract

Enterobius (Colobenterobius) pygatrichus sp. n. (Nematoda: Oxyuridae) is described on the basis of females expelled spontaneously from an adult male golden monkey Pygathrix roxellana (Milne-Edwards, 1870) (Primates: Cercopithecidae: Colobinae) that was being kept temporarily in a Japanese zoo. This species is distinguished from the previously known members of the subgenus by the cephalic morphology and a short tail.
