Abstract

We report herein a nymphal Amblyomma dissimile Koch, 1844 (Acari: Ixodidae) parasitizing an adult Rhinella margaritifera (Anura: Bufonidae) in lowland tropical rainforest in French Guiana. This is the first report of a tick parasitizing R. margaritifera.
