Abstract

The leafhopper genus Agalliopsis is reviewed for Hispaniola. Five species have been known from this island, A. balli (Baker), A. conformis Oman, A. pepino (DeLong and Wolcott), A. clitellaris (Ball) and A. acuticauta (Oman) New Combination. Thirteen new species are described, including A. lathripa, A. meiosa, A. acrita, A. treptona, A. bidigita, A. ancyra, A. dicroma, A. davidsoni, A. extenda, A. extrema, A. intera, A. longistyla and A. uncula. A key to the known species is included.
