Abstract

The genus Gymnopternus Loew has only one species recorded in Tibet which belongs to the group Gymnopternus grandis. Here the following two species of this group are described as new to science: Gymnopternus bariensis sp. nov. and G. longipennis sp. nov. A key to the species of Gymnopternus grandis group in the Himalayas is provided.
