This study was conducted in the provinces Antalya, Afyonkarahisar, Burdur, Isparta, and Konya, located in the Lakes Region of Turkey. Adults of Syrphidae were collected in the period between April and October 2014–2016, at least twice a season. In total 113 species belonging to three subfamilies and 39 genera were identified using morphological methods. Among them, four species are new to science and awaiting description, and 11 species recorded for the first time for the Turkish fauna. Identification keys with illustrations for the genera and species are provided.
