Abstract

ZÜNDORF, FL-J. 2011. Hygrohypnum eugyrium and Hyocomium armoricum — two remarkable species new for Georgia and the Caucasus area. — Herzogia 24: 163–166.

Hygrohypnum eugyrium and Hyocomium armoricum were found in the Mtirala-National Park (Southwest-Georgia, Transcaucasus) in 2010. Information on the collection sites, ecological parameters and on the distribution of both species are provided.
