Abstract

BRACKEL, W. v. 2011. Lichenicolous fungi and lichens from Puglia and Basilicata (southern Italy). — Herzogia 24: 65–101.

During an excursion to Puglia and Basilicata in summer 2010, 50 sites of lichenological interest were visited. The results of this field study with special emphasis on lichenicolous fungi are presented here. The new genus Asteroglobulus, the new species Asteroglobulus giselae, Phoma melanelixiae and Unguiculariopsis lucaniae are described, and a list of 92 taxa of lichenicolous fungi, including some lichenicolous lichens, is provided. Notes on some remarkable lichens (e.g., Collema italicum) and on two hepaticolous fungi are added.
