Plank contour extraction is the precondition of plank material identification work, accurate extraction of contour can improve the precision of the plank material identification, the experiment selected pinus massoniana plate cell image, using chain code method, Roberts, Sobel edge detection operator edge detection operator, Prewitt edge detection operator, Krisch edge detection operator, gauss Laplace operator control experiment analysis, experiment results show that the contour extraction method of Krisch edge detection operator on soft wood cell contour extraction effect is ideal, enhance the credibility of the subsequent experiment plank cell recognition.
