The continual strengthening of global integration highlights the importance of marine finance. Therefore, strategic development goals need to be set up that will better promote the development of finance for the marine economy. Enhancing China's comprehensive strength will enhance its position in the world, which requires attention on the strategic development of the marine economy. China is a semicoastal country with a vast continental area and rich marine resources, which are an important basis for the development of marine finance in China. Because of the continual strengthening of global integration, China must attach importance to the development of international marine finance, which will promote the innovation in marine economic development and in the overall economy. This article first analyzes the development of marine finance and strategic innovation in China's marine economy. Then, it analyzes many characteristics of modern ocean development. Finally, this article puts forward some feasible development strategies.
