As an important and rapidly developing region in China, the coastal landscape is the key area of modern urbanization development. When it comes to the coastal urban landscape, the most direct impression is the architectural design of the coastal zone. Generally speaking, the natural coastline is far away from the urban area. Based on nonlinear thinking, this paper studies the landscape architecture design that is closely related to the urban development and people's life and has a certain humanistic atmosphere. By studying, planning and designing key points and functional requirements of the region, this paper combines the landscape design of the coastal zone with the planning and landscape design of the residential area to study and discuss how to improve the design quality of the urban coastal living area and meet the requirements of residents' life, leisure, activities and communication.
