Abstract

Liu, M. and Zhang, L., 2020. Research on concrete durability and protection technology in marine environment. In: Wan, Z. (ed.), Coordinated Sustainable Development in Coastal Areas: Environment and Economy. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 109, pp. 206–209. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.

Concrete structure is a widely used structural form. However, concrete has serious durability problems due to the characteristics of the structure and environment in which it is utilized. The corrosion of sulfate and chloride is explained from the perspective of the marine environment. The factors affecting the durability of concrete structures are discussed, and preventive measures are proposed.
