Aiming at the problems of high signaling overhead and low data transmission efficiency faced by traditional mobility management base stations in specific scenarios of 5G ultra-dense network deployment, this paper studies the vertical handover algorithm in 5G cross-sea communication networks based on SDN architecture, Make full use of the globalized network status information in the SDN controller to calculate the optimal handover decision result, and reduce the delay and network overhead caused by the mobile node collecting network status information as much as possible. Use Matlab to propose handover management the strategy was simulated, and compared with the handover management mechanism of the LTE system, it has advantages in handover delay and average number of handovers.
