Fugro's Airborne lidar bathymetry (ALB) at night operation over the Florida coastline

The left image shows the pulsed green laser (532 nm wavelength) emitted from the Fugro LADS Mk II ALB System fitted in Dehavilland Dash 8 aircraft (the aircraft's navigation lights are seen on each side of the ALB scanner). The right image shows laser measurements from the LADS MKII system on Boca Raton beach, Florida, in 2002. Both photographs were taken using an exposure of 1/60 second.
