Abstract

Two new species of the genus Ammophila Kirby (Sphecidae: Ammophilinae) from China are described and illustrated: Ammophila globiverticalis Wang and Ma, n. sp., from Xinjiang, and Ammophila laminituberalis Wang and Ma, n. sp., from Zhejiang. The previously unknown male of Ammophila clypeola Li and Yang is described and a key to the Chinese species of Ammophila is provided.
