Abstract

Dictya behrmani Murphy, new species (Diptera: Sciomyzidae), from Indiana, U.S.A., is described and illustrated. A male collected near Belmont, Brown County, Indiana, U.S.A., represents the only known specimen of the new species. The most recent key to the genus Dictya is updated to include the two species described since publication of the key.
