Abstract

The acanthosomatid genus Tolono Rolston and Kumar is revised. The generic description is modified slightly to accommodate the two new species described herein: Tolono confusus n. sp. is described from Ecuador and Colombia and T. pallidus n. sp. is described from Colombia. The first host plant record, Baccharis floribunda (Ruiz and Pav.) (Asteraceae), is provided for T. pallidus. A key for the identification of the species is provided.
