Abstract

The aedeagus of Optatus palmaris, an Annonaceae fruits weevil, is described here. This pest is distributed in North and South America. Larvae and adults cause damages in anona fruits. Morphological description of its aedeagus with emphasis on morphological proportions of each part is noted and illustrated.
