Two new Nearctic species of Erioptera Meigen crane flies were discovered in Michigan. Erioptera gracila Taber and Erioptera robusta Taber are closely related to Erioptera chlorophylloides Alexander, but the three species can be distinguished from one another by the gonapophyses and dististyles of the male terminalia. Adult females and juveniles of the two new species are unknown.
