Abstract

Four new species of the subfamily Hypoaspidinae (Acari: Laelapidae) collected from moss are described from Anhui, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, China. They are H.(Cosmolaelaps) postreticulatus sp. nov., Hypoaspis (Geolaelaps) reticulatus sp. nov., H. (Cosmolaelaps) hefeiensis sp. nov., and Pseudoparasitus (Gymnolaelaps) submyrmecophila sp. nov.
