Abstract

The larva, deutonymph and adult of Balaustium zhangi sp. nov. (Acari: Erythraeidae) are described from Nowshahr, Iran. This is the fourth species of Balaustium that is described from both larval and post-larval stases. A key to the larvae of Balaustium of the world is presented.
