Abstract

Two new species of Dyschoriste (Acanthaceae), endemic to northeastern Brazil, are described: D. eulinae and D. vinacea. For each species we also provide a diagnosis, illustrations, taxonomic comments, preliminary conservation assessments, palynological data, distribution map, and photographs. A key to the species of Dyschoriste occurring in northeastern Brazil is presented.
