Abstract

The Commission has conserved the generic names Anthochaera Vigors & Horsfield, 1827 and Philesturnus Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1832 for Australian wattled honeyeaters (meliphagidae) and the New Zealand saddleback (callaeidae) by suppression of the generic name Creadion Vieillot, 1816.
