The purpose of this application, under Article 23.9.3 of the Code, is to conserve the specific name Amalia kaleniczenkoi Clessin, 1883 (currently Tandonia kaleniczenkoi, milacidae) for a terrestrial slug by giving it precedence over its senior subjective synonym Amalia retowskii Böttger, 1882.
