Abstract

The Commission has conserved the widely used generic name Oscinella Becker, 1909 (chloropidae) by giving it precedence over Melanochaeta Bezzi, 1906 and its objective synonym Pachychaetina Hendel, 1907 whenever these names are considered to be synonyms.
