Abstract

The purpose of this application, under Article 81.2 of the Code is to protect the names LucernaSwainson, 1840 and LucerninaeSwainson, 1840 as treated by Sei et al. (2017) by the suppression of Lucerna Férussac, 1821, a name originally published in synonymy and available under Art. 11.6.1, but subsequently not used in its original meaning.
