Abstract

The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature has used its plenary power to suppress the generic name Colonychus Harold, 1868, a subjective senior synonym of Streblopus Lansberge, 1874, although no type species has been designated, to conserve and give precedence to the generic name Streblopus Lansberge, 1874, type species Streblopus opatroides Lansberge, 1874.
