Abstract

Four new species of Ptomaphagus Illiger (Ptomaphagini) are described from Costa Rica and Panama: Ptomaphagus (Tupania) costarica new species, Ptomaphagus (Adelops) inbio new species, Ptomaphagus (Adelops) nubloso new species, and Ptomaphagus (Adelops) costanama new species.
