Abstract

Bembidion (Testedium) capito J. Müller, 1918 is recorded as a new country record for Turkey, expanding its range westward in the southwestern Palaearctic region. Synonymies, distribution, and chorotypes are given for the four species of the Bembidion Latreille subgenus Testedium Motschulsky, 1864 now known to occur in Turkey. A key to the Turkish species of Testedium is presented.
