Abstract

A new species of Stenocrates Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Cyclocephalini) from Peru is described: Stenocrates lissothorax Ratcliffe and Figueroa.Adescription, diagnosis, distribution, and illustrations of the new species are provided. This represents the 52^nd species in the genus, and the 15^th species known from Peru.
