Abstract

Two new species for the Turkish weevil fauna (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Curculioninae: Cionini) of the genus Cionus Clairville, 1798 are reported: Cionus anatolicus Gültekin, Košťál, and Gültekin, new species is described, and Cionus dodeki Košťál and Caldara, 2019 is reported as a new country record for Turkey. Distributional data, remarks on biology and phenology of both species for Turkey are given.
