Abstract

Four new species of salticids from the neighborhood of Lake Victoria in eastern Africa are described: Heliophanus jacksoni, Icius mbitaensis, Pseudicius athleta and Pseudicius roberti. Icius steeleae Logunov 2004 is recorded for the first time in Uganda.
