Abstract

The leafhopper genus Sylhetia Ahmed (1972) is reported for the first time from China and redescribed, and a newly record species, Sylhetia spinata Mathew & Ramakrishnan (2002), from Yunnan Province, China, is redescribed and illustrated. A key to worldwide male species of the genus is provided.
